We partner with local food distribution centers to provide families with hundreds of dollars worth of groceries at every outreach.
Food Distribution Program
Food distribution will occur on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. This service alleviates the ongoing financial distress of meeting nutritional needs. If you would like to sign up to receive food from our distribution program, please fill out the Recipient Sign-up Form below and submit for your name to be registered in our system. You may also print the form and bring it with you on the day of distribution.

When we arrived at the Back-to-School event we were SHOCKED!!! It seemed like the whole community of Spring was already lined up and winding around the building waiting for the shoes. As we moved along, I was really impressed with the overall event organization and how many volunteers there were participating. They were talking with people and asking them if they needed something to make the wait more comfortable. The crowd control and the flow of traffic was well planned and all areas seem to be covered.
As my children were being measured for shoes, we were told about the food distribution that was held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. I told them that I would be there!
At the food distribution we found things being done in decency and in order. Compassion for Community operates in a way that is loving and uplifting and does not make a person receiving the blessing feel shameful or bad.
To wrap it up, and what really impressed my wife and I was that Compassion for Community was a tremendous blessing to the Spring and surrounding communities by providing shoes, backpacks, toys and groceries!
